Founded in 1969, in Royal Oak, Michigan, De Giulio Industries was initially engaged in architectural millwork for residential and commercial clients. The founders, John and Mary Elizabeth De Giulio, were joined in successive years by five sons and a daughter.

The product line was expanded to include cabinetry and case goods for the residential market. Committed to achieving excellence in products and services, the business grew. Fostered by the same principles and vision, faithfully keeping the De Giulio name paramount, some family members soon established independent firms, setting up showrooms in Chicago and Birmingham, Michigan.

In 1979 the firm relocated to its present quarters in Ford Land Development’s Commerce Park North, Dearborn. The facility comprises a modern manufacturing plant adjoining an idea-inspiring showroom with design offices.
